I am now a Level 3 Pilates Instructor
I have now completed my Active IQ Pilates Level 3 course through Fitness NI. This course ulilizes documentation supplied by Body Control Pilates and is an excellent course.
I would like to give an enormous amount of thanks to Michelle, Roise, Denise, Gillian, Zuzana and Helen for being such a wonderful class to teach and for giving up their time on a Saturday morning. Thanks to all of you. Thanks also to those of you who under different circumstances would been there in my class.

New Pilates On The Ball class
My new for 2012 Pilates On The Ball class starts tomorrow at 9:30am in my Studio!! There are still a couple of places left. Opening offer of 6 classes for £30! Normal price will be £36 for 6 classes. Maximum of 5 people.
New for 2012 the 45 Minute 1 to 1 session for £22
I have just introduced 45 minute 1 to 1 sessions for £22.
So if you have an injury, you're getting married, or you want to start doing regular 1 to 1 sessions but feel that hour sessions are just to long or the idea of paying out £30 a time seems just a little to extravagant at the moment then a 45 minute £22 1 to 1 could be just right for you.

The next block of 8 classes in LA Fitness, Adelaide Street, Belfast starts next week. each block of 8 classes costs £48 and there are spaces in both the 18:30 Tuesday class and the 17:30 Wednesday class. The Neilpilates.com Members Monthly Draw is Back!
After having lots of problems which were unfortunately beyond my control, the e-mails for the September free draw have been sent out to the members of Neilpilates.com.
As with the monthly Neilpilates Facebook draw the winner gets a free 1 to 1 personnel Pilates session in my studio. The session lasts 1 hour normal price £30.
The runner-up gets £15 off a 1 to 1 or £15 towards the payment for a set of classes.
The draws will now be held on a Monthly basis as before.

Pricing changes from September 2011
Unfortunately I am in the postion were I feel I need to slightly increase to the cost of my classes. This will be the first every price increase since I started teaching in 2004. The cost of each class will increase by £1.
The drop in classes at St Bernadette's Parish Centre, and Jacqui Philpott's Dance Studio will cost £36 for 6 classes that do not need to be taken consecutively or £7 per class.
The enrolled classes at LA Fitness on Tuesday and Wednesday evening remain unchanged at £48 for 8 classes. The Friday lunchtime class also remains unchanged at £4 per 45 minute class.
The enrolled classes at the Crescent Arts Centre will be priced at £6 per class from the start of the January 2012 term i.e. if the term lasts 8 weeks it will cost £48 etc. The September term is still priced at £5 per class, £60 for 12 classes. The lunchtime class on Mondays starting in September will remain unchanged at £32 per 8 week block, £4 per 45 minute class.
The Friday class at International House will remain unchanged at £5 per class.
The Antenatal class held on Saturdays in my Studio will remain unchanged at £40 for 5 classes which do not need to be taken consecutively.
1 to 1 and 2 to 1 personal Pilates tuition remain unchanged at £30 and £40 respectfully.
I can run private 1 hour classes in my studio for 3 to 6 people
£15 per person for 3
£12 per person for 4
£10 per person for 5
£8 per person for 6

June Neilpilates Facebook Page Draw
New Class Starting on 5th September 2011
I will have a new class from 5th September on Monday mornings from 09:30 to 10:30 at Peaches Poledancing Studio which will be moving to an address on the Cregagh Road opposite Wyse Byse at the end of July. Peaches is run by Karen Simpson and pole dancing classes will greatly improve your core strength and flexibility as both are needed in abundance if you want to perform some of the higher level moves.
Friday Morning, 09:15 to 10:15 Class Change Of Venue.
During the months of June, July and August the Friday morning, 09:15 to 10:15, class normally held in St Bernadette's Parish Centre will be held inthe Neilpilates Studio at 17 Wynchurch Park, Belfast BT6 0 JL. From September 2011 this class will revert to being held in Bernadette's Parish Centre, Rosetta Road.
Radio Ulster Talkback
Due to Pippa Middleton stating her much admired shape is due to Pilates I was invited onto the Radio Ulster Talkback programme with Wendy Austin on Thursday 19th May to talk about the many and various benefits of Pilates. Tuesday and Wednesday evening classes at LA Fitness
There are still some places left in the Tuesday 18:30 class and the Wednesday 17:30 class at LA Fitness, Adelaide Street, Belfast. Get in touch on 0791917941 or through Facebook if you are interested in these places, maximum 5 per class. It's a 8 week term priced at £48, 5 non-LA Fitness members will be allowed to enrol in each class. The Friday lunchtime 12:30 class costs £4 per class and ther is no limit on the number of non-LA Fitness members who can attend.

Are You Free on Fridays?
If you have free time on Fridays I have three classes you can choose from;

LA Fitness, Adelaide Street, 12:30 - 13:15 N.B. this class is open to public and you do not require membership of LA Fitness to attend this class.
International House Language School, University Street, opposite All Saints church, 16:00 - 17:00
If you have a Yoga/exercise mat you should bring it for classes in St Bernadette's although I do supply a limited number of mats. You need to bring a mat to the International House class. Mats are supplied at LA Fitness.
If you have access to a Membership Plus or PERKS discount card, you don't need to be the named person on the card, you get 25% off the LA Fitness class each time you attended!! Pay £3 only, normal price £4. You can also get 25% off your first 1-2-1 or your first 6 lessons at the classes at Jacqui Philpott's Dance Studio & St Bernadette's Parish Centre, £22.50 instead of £30!!

The International House class costs £5 per class.
